Letter to our customers

April 3, 2020

Dear Valued Customers,

We want to provide you with an update on our situation today.

On April 2, 2020 Georgia Governor Brian Kemp issued an executive order requiring Georgians to remain at home unless participating in essential services, performing necessary travel, or if they are part of the workforce for critical infrastructure. According to the order, the term “‘Critical Infrastructure’ shall refer to businesses, establishments, corporations, nonprofit corporations, and organizations as defined by the U. S. Department of Homeland Security as ‘essential critical infrastructure workforce,’…and those suppliers which provide essential goods and services to the critical infrastructure workplace… The operation of critical infrastructure shall not be impeded by county, municipal, or local ordinance.”

According to the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, YKK is part of the Essential Critical Infrastructure Industry for the Defense Industrial Base. We will therefore remain open while this executive order is in place so long as we can do so while keeping our employees safe. YKK will continue to meet or exceed CDC guidelines as well as state and local directives on practices to limit the spread of COVID-19.

YKK continues to proactively take steps to anticipate any possible disruptions in our ability to service our customers and we are committed to keeping our customers informed of any changes. Please visit our website for information on COVID-19 related products.

Sincerely,

John Smith
President
